1.5 kW radio transmitter transmission table from the Stuttgart-Feuerbach Army Provisions Office

One of the earliest German broadcasting transmitters was used by Süddeutsche Rundfunk AG (SÜRAG, South-German Broadcasting Service). It was put into operation on May 11, 1924, as an "official transmitting station for wireless entertainment and instruction" in the former army supplies office in Stuttgart-Feuerbach. The transmitter had a telegraph power of 1.5 kW. An afternoon and evening program, as well as occasional night concerts, were broadcast daily from 5:00 p.m. on the medium wave.
