1910 England cap, Billy Hibbert

This purple velvet England international cap was awarded to Billy Hibbert of Bury in 1910 for a game against Scotland; the Scots won 2-0.

This was his only cap, though he played two unofficial internationals on the 1910 tour to South Africa. He signed for Newcastle United in 1911, and would later turn out for Bradford City.
