To fill up the production gap between the Buick and the Cadillac, GM introduced the LaSalle, the first model being designed by a professional stylish designer Harley Earl. Before it, all model designing was done by mechanical engineers. Harley Earl changed the monotonous car color scheme, incorporating the wheels and trunk into the overall body design. His design theory had a fundamental influence on the American automotive industry. LaSalle has several body styles. This coupe model is installed with a V8 engine, 75 horsepower with a 3 gear transmission.
