This is one of a set of plaques issued to players who appeared in the 1965 FA Charity Shield match between Manchester United and Liverpool.
This particular plaque belonged to George Best. As the match was drawn - Best scoring the first goal in the 2-2 stalemate - the full size shield was shared between the two clubs for the 1965-66 season.
