This shirt was worn by West Germany forward Lothar Emmerich during the 1966 FIFA World Cup final match against England.

The winger - a frequent scorer back home with Borussia Dortmund - had netted once in the tournament, an equaliser against Spain in Group 2 (they would go on to win 2-1).

It was Emmerich's free kick which caused the chaos in the box that ultimately allowed Wolfgang Weber to equalise for the West Germans. Emmerich would not represent his country again.
