1973 England cap, Sue Lopez

This cap was awarded to Sue Lopez after her debut match for England against Northern Ireland in 1973.

The cap was homemade as the Women's FA couldn't afford to buy anything more official. Sue would go on to represent her country a further twenty-one times, becoming a mainstay of the side throughout the seventies.
