Cinderella programme

Alexandra Palace Theatre programme for Christmas pantomime Cinderella. The pantomime was one of the most successful formats in the Theatre. Prince Charming was played by Madoline Rees and Cinderella by Beatrice Varley; portraits of both appear in the programme. The Palace stage was renowned for its special effects and here are listed ‘dazzling electric fairy fountains’.
