HIGH UP ABOVE THE CITY TO-DAY (TUESDAY) PINT GLASSES, FULL OF ALE, ARE RAISED AFTER THE TOPPING-OUT CEREMONY TO MARK COMPLETION OF THE SUPERSTRUCTURE OF BRITANNIC HOUSE, HAS BEEN PERFORMED. DRINKING WITH THE WORKERS ON TOP OF LONDON'S TALLEST BUILDING ARE SIR MAURICE BRIDGEMAN (CENTRE, LEFT) CHAIRMAN OF B.P. WHO PERFORMED THE CEREMONY, AND SIR MAURICE LAING, CHAIRMAN OF JOHN LAING, CONSTRUCTION LTD., THE MAIN CONTRACTORS. WORK ON BRITANNIC HOUSE, WHICH RISES 395 FT HIGH - IT IS 35-STOREYS HIGH BEGAN TOWARDS THE END OF 1962, AND IS DUE FOR COMPLETION BY THE END OF THE YEAR. THE NEW HEAD OFFICES THE B. P. ARE IN MOORFIELDS.
