ElNodo is an infrastructure for training and cultural production that aspires to act as an intermediary between the disconnected or marginalized districts in the city of Saltillo. It is a participatory centre open to citizens’ proposals: individuals and collectives are the protagonists of the construction and cultural production process. Our work is focused on empowerment, to provide the local workgroup with tools serving for the development of a long-term process in its various component elements.
Six years after the process began, the success of its management and the implementation of new phases of construction, completely independent of us, confirms our work, showing it has empowered the local community, endowing it with development, resilience and not the dependence that often accompanies processes of this kind.
