Immersed in the green countryside of Treviso, near the Sile river and the Venetian lagoon, this is the location where, in its first phase, H-Farm was founded as a business and training centre geared to innovation through new technologies. The renovation of abandoned farm buildings and the construction of new wooden ones marked the first intervention where today more than five hundred people are living and working. The new expansion, the second phase of the project still in progress, is H-Campus, an international education district, which will involve students, teachers and professionals: a multitude of people who come to this evolving place and configure a new community, giving new life to a forgotten countryside. We believe that the main value of this site is the dominant landscape and our intent is to establish an architecture which is subject to
the nature and history of the land. We like to define this project as a “good place” and so it is considered by those who live and not just work here. Culture and local values are the building principles for a global ethical vision of making. H stands for Human.
