The story of the Chaphekar brothers, who retaliated against the martial law imposed by the British in Pune following a plague in the city. The brothers took to themselves to avenge the atrocities inflicted on them and assassinated General Rand, subsequently. It touches upon various facets of the Indian freedom struggle, rebellion, labour and sacrifice to name a few.
