Amitabha, identified by his red colour and his vehicle the peacock, is seated in padmasana on his vehicle who is depicted with wings spread and tail-plume providing a backdrop behind the yellow prabhavali. In keeping with his iconographic tenets, he displays the dhyana mudra. He is supporting akalasa on the joined hands. He wears white dhoti with blue dots and a blue scarf with tussels fluttering on each side. He is bedecked with a five pointed tiara or a crown.
