The miniature shows Maharajah Sher Singh sitting in Naulakha Pavilion in Lahore Fort, River Ravi flowing across it along with Kamran's Summer Palace in a distance. The painting depicts that Lahore city has caught fire and is now taking over the Fort and Maharajah's throne. The angels guarding The Ruler have been sucked up by smoke. The facial expressions of the courtiers enunciates jealousy and hatred.
The artist has drawn himself painting Maharajah Sher Singh on a horse.
