Anne is one of the women supported by Carakana Program and here she shares her story: BEGINNING IS THE HARDEST PART
"My name is Anne, I am a person living with albinism in Nairobi and I am a beneficiary of the cross stitching project. I learnt of the project through the Albinism Society of Kenya which formed a partnership with Carakana and that is how I joined. My experience working on it was challenging at first but eventually, I got used to it and it became easier. I was paid for work done and I used the money to pay for my college fees as I'm studying a course in human resource and management, all thanks to Carakana."
