Famous Colored Troops arrive home on the France. 369th (Old 15th) Infantry under the command of Colonel Haywards arrive in Hoboken, N.J. These men, mostly from New York City and vicinity, were the first American troops to reach the Rhine and were cited more times than any other regiment in the United States, in Army orders. The whole regiment was awarded the Croix de Guerre
