Artist's Note: The theme of my work is a series of processes. Fragmented words reside underneath themselves in a disorderly manner: process, perseverance, perspective, destiny, change, hope, dual thinking, fantasy, expectation, ideal, opportunity, choice and so on. Each of the words that appear in my artwork can be presented powerfully, and at times feebly. Time accumulates over and over and forms layers on top of layers. Assuming that the center is located at the end, the time that the viewer can see is the processes that dwell within us, which have unnoticeable implications. Eccentric cues suggest the emergence of another time and space. It is constructed along with the unceasing and tiresome processes, is a two-faced play that does not conclude the processes in simple ways. Life is a destiny, it is compared to endless roads and stairs; it is a suggestion to another space and time of hope and desire in life. When warm fantasies and ideals are thrown onto a canvas, a tired aspect comes with each stroke; with each step of the stairs that one has to take. Nature and cities appear in order to draw metaphors to the mundane world, while unpredictable roads do the same for the ideal world. Cities in my recent work is disproportional and contain diverse changes in perspective. They are works that contrast idealality and reality, and at the same time express the irony of coexistence. The two are contrasting dry and packed images of cities with natural images of vacant skies.
