Pidhi (Stool)

A pidha is a stool with a webbed seat (woven within a square frame) that rests on four turned wood legs. The seat is made of coir or cotton rope or strap, often webbed in different patterns. This pidhi with painted legs was part of a private collection in Amritsar.
