The family who owned this peti had collected and created a display of vernacular furniture and agricultural tools in an old house. The corners of this simple peti were held together with the use of metal bracings. A metal chain was fixed to a hook to hold the lid in place, for the times when one would need to keep the peti open for a longer duration.
