Many board game enthusiasts enjoy Parker Brothers' famous game Clue, in which players use deduction and clever guessing to solve a murder. In 1991 the firm published another type of crime-solving game, originally called "Heist" by its three co-inventors. Parker Brothers, however, chose to market the game as a variant of the ever-popular Clue, so the game is called "Clue: The Great Museum Caper." Instead of solving a murder, players attempt to catch an art thief, played by one of the players. If the thief can steal three valuable paintings without being caught, he or she wins the game. Released in 1991, the game proved popular and vintage editions still command hefty sums at Online auction sites and through retail outlets.
