A city is a place of harmony where various spaces create harmony. 'Sequence Square' is a pavilion space that symbolizes the city and is a space of Sequence Scapes containing stories. 'Sequence Square' is a space where rhythmical variations of the mass are mixed together, and dynamic scenes where scenes in which the activities of people overlap are created. Each of the four sides of the different designs creates a variety of sequences according to the line of sight, and the space story is metaphorically as it is experienced in urban skyscrapers. Just as stories of people’s lives are superimposed and projected in a city of space, the layer of the work is a layer containing the story of such a superimposed city and has the meaning of compressing the hierarchy of history of the city in the continuity of time.
The changes in the different formative designs on each side of the “Sequence Square” make metaphorical scapes reminiscent of the city skyline. It is the space of the scenery where the sequence of the space square is made. Entrance into the space enters into the spaces of four directions flowing along the path. The stairways and mirrors of each entrance create blocking and open space, and are directed into the hidden interior space, which serves as a passage for each. The central square space is the starting space that extends into the four space spaces. The horizontal pattern of the square space in the middle of the space of the four regions contrasts with the color of the surface, creating a spectacular view of the city.
The surface pattern of “Sequence Square” creates a multi-layered hierarchy of urban narratives, creating a rhythm of change and balance. The horizontal pattern represents the meaning of the condensed space where the city’s multi-story story is compressed. A segmented mass divides space and creates a rhythm of space. The vertically and horizontally stacked faces make up the space and create a multilayer mass. The projected mass shows the rhythm of the echoed space and is the space to feel the flow of the skyline. It is an inner space and a connection with an outer space. It is a path space that enters an inner space while being an outer space. The outside becomes the inside and the inside becomes the outside. The stairs are the point of departure and the path of the arrival process. Sequence City is a place where stories of scenes containing narrative images of people who are looking for space are stored, At the end of the arriving stairs there is a mirror projecting the space.
