Board game:Game of Naval Engagement

Around 1870, McLoughlin Brothers published several board games as boards only, with instructions on the play printed on the board backs. These specify using dice and buttons as playing pieces. In general, these are race games with imagery and subjects designed to appeal to children. This particular example is concerned with a naval battle, and the imagery resembles Fort Sumpter.
