These notes, imitating UK 10 shilling banknotes and featuring London gangster Ronnie Kray, were produced for ‘Gay Shame Goes Macho’ in 2008. The event, organised by arts enterprise Duckie, was part of the wider Gay Shame movement which questioned the perceived increased
commercialisation of mainstream annual Gay Pride events from within the LGBTQ community.
