The richly illustrated manuscript of the book of coats of arms with coloured outline and ink drawings by Rudolf Stahel from Konstanz was presumably acquired by Duke William IV of Bavaria soon after its creation.
Page 232: Presentation of the crests on the day before the tournament. Ladies take part in the the viewing of helmets. Whoever does not take part in the tournament is requested to remove their helmet.
