More. Waist garment. Woven from strips of fau (hibiscus fibre). The waistband consists of bundles of fau strips, wrapped and knotted around a base made of strands of fau. A row of brown coloured poreho (cowrie shells) with white speckles, are interwoven across the upper width of the more. A criss-cross pattern is formed across the width of the upper area of the waist garment, using strips of fau. A row of red seeds (Adenanthera pavonina, Red-bead tree seeds) bored and threaded onto nylon wire, are interwoven around the perimeter of the criss-cross pattern. There are also three clusters of three brown coloured poreho with white speckles, interwoven near the centre of the upper area. A further four poreho, two on each side, decorate upper area of the more. The body is made of unwoven strands of fau, and is uneven in length, visible across the bottom edge. There are two ties, both 2-ply, at one end, with one tie, 2-ply, at the opposite end of the more. Each tie is knotted at the end.
