Composition in ochre, earthy, gray, black, blue, green, white and red. Smooth and thick texture, and marked brushstrokes. Figures outlined in black. It depicts two men on a raft with sails billowing occupying almost the entire stand area. The figures are of black race and have defined facial features. On the left, jangadeiro standing with his back slightly turned to the left. Wearing a hat, loose clothing, clear, windswept and is barefoot. It arms up and suggests handle with his on the right hand through a winding rope entire height of the support area. The legs are apart by looking up the bent on the left. To the right, a little further on, another jangadeiro, front, playing a ukulele. His head is turned slightly to the left, wear egg white clothes by the wind, has the legs slightly apart and bare feet. The raft are defined by the diagonal lines on the right to on the left, front to back, on which see to the left, a species of blue box. The bottom part of clear open triangular sail, and further back part of another candle, darker with a red circle representing. In the lower on the left and upper center sees parts of the sea in shades of blue and green.
