McLoughlin Brothers' card game The Bugle Horn or Robin Hood and his Merry Men is a high-quality card game packed in a wooden slipcase box. Such wooden-boxed games are today prized by collectors, although the cover image of Robin Hood on this example is sadly darkened with age. Classified as a trading game, it utilized counter cards--now missing from the set--to mark points as the game progressed. Individual cards are marked with characters from the Robin Hood story and instructions as to their play and point values.
