Silk Court resident in wooly hat. "Clothing means personal history to me. My mother was a dressmaker and taught me how to make my own clothes. I made all my own clothes until I couldn’t lift the machine onto the table. I knitted all my woolies including the one in the photograph. It’s probably 20 years old."
