A Vietnam Pot Bellied Piglet recently became a problem at the
Whipsnade Zoo Childrens Section when it was deserted by the mother soon after birth. Miss Carol Stewart one of the Zoo's young Assistants took over the duties of feeding and caring for the youngsters and she has been taking it home each evening and feeding it with warm cows milk from a babies bottle. The two week old piglet has been named "Ossie".
PHOTOGRAPH SHOWS:- The two week old piglet "Ossie" is seen keeping close to the feet of his young guardian 15 year-old CAROL STEWART.
