The bottom part of a hookah, in which water is filled, is called tanki and the top, in which the coal is kept, is called chillum. There are two pipes fixed to the tanki; one that is connected to the chillum and another that curves outwards. Both these are called nehcha. Another pipe called neh is fixed to the nehcha that curves outwards, to form the smoking end from where the smoke is drawn.
