This silvatta, recorded in the courtyard of the house near the chulha (hearth), was believed to be made around sixty years ago. It was given to the lady of the house by her mother-in-law. Because of the frequent use, the rough texture of the stone surface becomes smooth and requires to be dressed once in a while.
