Pidha (Low chair)

The legs of this pidha were made using turned wood and finished by lacquering. The hind legs were extended to form the posts holding the backrest. The backrest was fixed to the posts using tongue and groove joinery. The seat of the low chair was woven using dyed cotton ropes.
