Khunti (Wall peg)

In houses, khunti are also used to hang ancillary objects. The featured khunti was built in a room of the house and was used by the children to hang their school identity cards and belt from the uniform when they returned from school. This khunti was used only for this to ensure these items could be kept handy for the next morning while getting ready for school.
