Chhikka (Food cloche)

A chhikka is generally made of two parts, a wooden stand and a metal cover. This chhikka had a pyramidal cover made of metal strips that was hinged to the wooden frame. The base of the stand was also made of metal strips and was used to place utensils containing milk or food items.
