‘Viewers' is the first ballet Jiří Kylián made for NDT. Six dance pairs experience different emotions while watching a certain painting, which the audience only sees after the performance. Only at that moment it becomes clear why the feelings of the dancers are so differentiated and strong: in the paintings they see themselves.
