This specimen is most likely found from a prehistorical slate coffin at the Peinan site. It is an example of fine sand red pottery. Part of this container is earthen bowl-shaped. A high ring foot is at the bottom. Ear-shaped attachments are on both sides of the opening which may be used for attaching a rope or handle. This is the only example discovered at the Peinan site.
