Poster produced for the film 'Waqt' (trans. Time), directed by Yash Chopra and released in the year 1965. The film was a pioneer of the 'multi-starrer' and featured an ensemble cast, including Balraj Sahni, Sunil Dutt, Sadhana, Raaj Kumar, Shashi Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore (named and featured in the poster). The film took the top spot at the box office in 1965 and its plot reintroduced 'the lost and reunited' formula in Bollywood. The film won 5 Filmfare awards, and its musical score was extremely popular, with songs like "Aage bhi jaane na tu" and "Ae meri zohrajabeen" going to become classics. 'Waqt' was later remade into the Telugu as 'Bhale Abbayilu' (1969) and in Malayalam as 'Kolilakkam' (1981).
