A toy in the form of a small axe, made entirely of wood, painted. Made by hand, probably by one of Krakow's bricklayers or carpenters. At the turn of the 20th century, in winter – a downtime in terms of open-air work – they occupied themselves with toymaking and then sold their products at festivals in the spring – Emaus, Rękawka, and the St. Stanislaus festival at Skałka.
