Majju (Cabinet)

Of the majju recorded, they can be categorised into two types based on the design elements; those with finials carved like turrets at the top of the vertical supports, and those with horse heads carved on the side rails. This majju at The South Asia Collection is a unique example where both turned finials and carved horse heads have been used in the design.
