Funeral portrait of a woman; from Antinoopolis in Egypt, painted in tempera on linen with gypsum and gold leaf additions. The dead person is portrayed full-face with wide-open eyes, wearing precious jewellery, and holding the Egyptian Ankh symbol in her left hand. Dating to the 3rd c.
