In Baghdad, Lorna lived an eastern dream inspired by Mesopotamian treasures, Abbasid pamphlets and manuscripts that she looked at in the British Museum and loved. She was associated with the fragrance of the Baghdadi heritage that smells of civilizations whose traces are still visible. The color of the dirt and the color of the deserts is the only color that she insisted on using to leave us historical documents from the homes of ancient Baghdad and to inspire us to adore our ancient heritage and our ancient past
