Tuan Trirapichit was one of the pioneers of mixed media art in Thailand. His career began with two-dimensional printmaking and grew into mixed media using naturally and locally sourced materials. His genuine attention to detail of each material showed in the textures, shapes, and colors as he featured various non-chemical materials such as python skin, hides of other animals, and ropes. Moreover, there have been different materials he picked up along the journey to remote areas such as bamboo fishing trap and local household appliances which exhibited souls and values in the ways in which farmers lived.
