Gian Paola Litta Modignani (1895-1937), born in Biumo (Varese) belonging to the noble Litta family, he studied under the guidance of Camillo Rapetti at the Brera Academy. She exhibit in several collective and some personal shows, but her death shortly after forty years prevents her from completing experimental attempts and the artistic evolution. In her will, drawn up a few days before her death, she named her brother the universal heir, with a legacy of 100,000 lire for the Ospedale Maggiore, which she also donated her self-portrait, very marked in his features and full of color.
