Coin, bronze, of Diocletian (b. 245 A.D. : Emp. 284: d. 305).Obv. IMP C DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG. Head of emperor to right, laureate. Rev. GENIO POPVLI ROMANI. A standing figure of a semi-nude genius wearing the modius. He holds a patera in his right hand and a cornucopiæ in his left. On the right of the figure is the letter A. Diam. 28 mm. Given by Mrs. Glinn. V&A no. 679–1906.
