Exhausting a Crowd

<exhausting a crowd>(2015) was inspired by Georges Perec’s novel, An Attempt at Exhausting a Place in Paris (Tentative d’épuisement d’un Lieu parisien) of 1974, and automates the task of completely describing the events of 12 hours in a busy public space in London. The work not only records atmosphere felt in public places in today’s society, but also technical ability and control scope possessed by the future’s creepy dystopia surveillance system.
