The bull is written in latin. The imperial seal (bulla) is still attached on the document. It was issued by Charles VI (1711-1740) to grant protection to the Monastery, and especially to its ships. There is a significant number of Latin documents in the Patmos archive, about 70 of which constitute a group of documents -dated from the 15th to the 18th century- from Catholic ecclesiastical and secular rulers that grant privileges and protection to the Monastery.

- Περιγραφή: Το χαριστήριο προνομιακό κηρόβουλλο είναι γραμμένο στα Λατινικά και διατηρεί την εξαρτημένη αυτοκρατορική σφραγίδα (βούλα). Με το έγγραφο παρέχεται προστασία στη Μονή και ιδιαίτερα στα πλοία της. Στο αρχείο της Πάτμου υπάρχει σημαντικός αριθμός Λατινικών εγγράφων, 70 περίπου από τα οποία αποτελούν μια ομάδα εγγράφων (15ου-18ου αιώνα) προερχομένων από εκκλησιαστικούς και κοσμικούς ηγεμόνες, που παραχωρούν προνόμια και προστασία στο Μοναστήρι.
