Loose plates XII, XIV and XXIV from the first edition of The Gentleman and Cabinet-Maker's Director, 1754. The Society owns the original pen and ink drawings by Chippendale from which these plates were engraved by Matthias Darly in 1753, while the two men shared the same address in Northumberland Court, London.
