Paindi (Water pitcher storage)

Two earthen water pots were placed in the paindi in the residence, which was around eighty years old. Earthen pots are generally used to store water in paindi as the continuously flowing air around the paindi evaporates the dripping water from the pot’s outer surface, in turn cooling down the pot and the water inside it.
