The metal fittings used to brace the horizontal and vertical members were made from brass, while the corner bracings were made of iron and painted. Stamped brass ornaments and rivets fixed onto the panels were the only form of ornamentation on this otherwise plain sandook. It had two openings on the front facade to access the two compartments of the sandook.
