Laxmi Ghalan is a lesbian activist and founder of Mitini Nepal. In 2002, Ghalan and her partner Mira Bajracharya started counseling services to other lesbians with the help of Blue Diamond Society and later on in 2005 they formally established Mitini Nepal. She has been working in this issue in order to improve the sexual health, protect human rights, lobbying and wellbeing of sexual and gender minorities like lesbians, gay, bisexuals, transgender in Nepal.
