Since its premiere in 1969, the television series "Sesame Street" has remained on the cutting edge of children's educational entertainment, combining engaging puppet characters, catchy tunes, and effective instructional methods. The series has generated consumer goods of all kinds, especially toys. Ernie first appeared on Sesame Street on November 10, 1969. He is best known for his comic routines with his roommate, Bert, his love for his rubber ducky, and his penchant for getting into mischief.
